Exploring Fine Art Prints
Positive feedback on my notecards has been so encouraging, especially hearing that one customer plans to frame a set of four! This inspired me to explore fine art prints, and I used the same trusted printer to create Giclée prints (pronounced jee-clay) of my top three designs: Over the Valley, Dartmoor Lore, and Watchful Oak.
When the prints arrived, I couldn’t help but break into a happy dance—they beautifully capture the essence of my glasswork! I mounted them with archival card and displayed them at my final fair of 2024. Though I only printed a few, I decided to gift some for Christmas, framing them in slim black metal frames—simply stunning!
I now need professional photos of the prints, framed and unframed, so I can add them to my store—definitely a priority for 2025!

Introducing Notecards
I’m delighted to share that I’ve created a collection of greeting notecards based on my glass landscape pieces. Each card measures 75mm x 105mm and features a glossy finish that captures the essence of my work. The designs include Dartmoor Lore, Over the Valley, The Watchful Oak, The Edge of Bellever, and Still Waters, offering a variety of scenes inspired by Devon’s landscapes.
This journey began as an experiment, and I’m so pleased with how the cards have turned out. Their compact size feels perfect for thoughtful notes, while the glossy finish reflects the unique qualities of my glasswork. The cards are also packaged in compostable sleeves, aligning with my commitment to sustainability.
These notecards were introduced at recent events and have been well-received, with some people even planning to frame them. I look forward to adding to this collection in the coming months.

Developing my Portfolio
Since I began creating my Dartmoor and coastal pendants, I’ve always dreamed of scaling up to create wall art. During Devon Open Studios, I displayed two prototypes, and the feedback was incredibly encouraging. One of these earlier pieces, measuring 7x5 cm within a 7x5 inch frame, marked a significant step forward in my journey.
I've since created several more, learning a great deal. Larger pieces bring added complexity, both in design and the technical aspects of firing. This particular piece, inspired by our valley, developed a surface bubble during the final firing. However, photographing it from the right angle reveals what it could look like without the flaw, and that’s been encouraging for my progress.
I'm planning to sell my first larger works at upcoming Christmas events, just waiting on the framers. Then, with the quieter start to the New Year, I’ll focus on increasing the size, working towards my long-term goal of creating 12x10 inch glass art. Check out these recent creations via my Instagram

Magazine Features
I was thrilled to be featured in both Devon Life and Dartmoor Magazine during this year’s Devon Open Studios. Being highlighted in such renowned local publications was a true honour!
I couldn't resist buying two copies—one for myself and one for my parents—feeling a bit like a little girl bringing home a certificate from school.
It's not every day that your work is showcased in magazines that celebrate the rich culture and talent of Devon. The articles highlighted my journey as an artist, and it was a proud moment to see my glass creations celebrated in this way!

Wonderworks Contemporary Craft Fair
I was thrilled to be selected for this prestigious event, especially as an emerging crafter and artist. Huge thanks to the amazing organisers, Abigail North and Alison West, for championing crafters.
It was fantastic to be among such talented co-exhibitors, learning so much and sharing lots of laughs.
Thank you to all the visitors for their interest in my work, taking the time to chat, and for the wonderful feedback. A special thanks to the couple who traveled quite a distance to see my pendants for their daughters 18th birthday – I felt so honoured and it was definitely the icing on the cake.
